Hello Jenny, I enjoyed your prezi presentation. I teach biology but I remember how when I was studying history time lines helped me a lot. I am visual learner and time lines have always helped me a lot. I used them to review material and study for finals. I think of time lines like mind maps. I love the idea of interactive time lines that allow students to work in group and collaborate, add pictures and links to useful websites and make history comes alive. Also, based on the tutorial video you added to your presentation, this tool is pretty easy to use. I am confident that your students will enjoy working with time lines and share their work! Lorenza
Hi Lorenza: Sorry for the delay in replying to you. I was out of the country for Spring Break.
TimeToast is a really cool free web tool online. I really enjoyed playing around with it. I too am a visual learner, so I can't wait to have my students play around with this.
Jenny, TimeToast looks so cool and easy to use. It's amazing how students can now do the same types of assignments we did way back when but with technology. Technology keeps them involved, thinking and learning throughout the entire process. I could definitely use this for my geography and earth science classes and I know the students would benefit from the activity. Thank you for sharing.
